2. Quotations and Order Acceptance
- All quotations provided by Premium Prints are valid for 14 calendar days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing.
- A quotation does not constitute a binding contract. A contract is formed only when we issue a written order confirmation (by email or WhatsApp) and receive the required advance payment.
- We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, including orders that contain unlawful, offensive, or infringing content.
- Prices quoted are exclusive of VAT. UAE Value Added Tax at the prevailing rate (currently 5%) will be applied to all taxable supplies and stated separately on invoices.
- Prices are subject to change without notice until a quotation is formally accepted.
3. Artwork and File Requirements
- You are solely responsible for supplying print-ready artwork that meets our technical specifications (minimum 72 dpi at final print size for large format, 300 dpi for fine detail work, CMYK colour profile, with bleed and crop marks as specified).
- We will conduct a pre-press review of all submitted files and notify you of any issues before production commences. However, this review does not transfer responsibility for artwork accuracy to us.
- Once you approve a digital proof, responsibility for all content — including text, imagery, spelling, colour accuracy, and legal compliance — passes entirely to you.
- We accept no liability for errors, omissions, or colour variations in files that have received client approval.
- By submitting artwork, you warrant that you hold all necessary intellectual property rights, licences, and permissions for all content included, and that printing and displaying such content will not infringe any third-party rights.
- We reserve the right to refuse or halt production of any artwork that, in our reasonable judgement, infringes third-party intellectual property, violates UAE law, or contains prohibited content.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Standard Orders
A non-refundable advance payment of 50% of the total order value (inclusive of VAT) is required before production commences. The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion and prior to delivery or collection.
4.2 New Clients and Large-Format / Installation Projects
For first-time clients and for orders involving on-site installation, structural fabrication, or orders exceeding AED 10,000, full payment in advance may be required at our discretion.
4.3 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept bank transfer (details provided on invoice), credit and debit card, and cash. Cheque payments are accepted subject to prior arrangement. Production will not commence until cleared funds are received.
4.4 Overdue Payments
Outstanding balances not settled within 7 days of the due date may incur a late payment charge of 2% per month on the overdue amount. We reserve the right to withhold delivery of completed goods until all outstanding amounts are paid in full.
4.5 VAT
All prices are subject to UAE VAT at 5% unless you present a valid VAT exemption certificate at the time of order. VAT invoices will be issued upon request and in all cases where legally required.
5. Turnaround Times and Delivery
- Quoted turnaround times (typically 2–5 business days for standard orders) commence only upon receipt of: (a) a complete, print-ready approved artwork file, and (b) confirmed advance payment.
- Turnaround times are estimates based on current production capacity and do not constitute guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly agreed in writing.
- Rush orders (same-day or next-day production) are subject to availability and carry a surcharge of up to 50% of the standard order value.
- We are not liable for delays caused by incomplete artwork, client revision requests after approval, courier or logistics failures beyond our control, or force majeure events (see Section 11).
- Delivery is available across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ajman. Delivery charges are quoted separately and depend on order size, weight, and delivery location. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon handover to the courier or upon collection from our premises.
- For installations, a site survey may be required before a confirmed installation date can be agreed. We are not responsible for delays resulting from site access issues, permit delays, or structural conditions outside our control.
6. Cancellations and Amendments
- Before artwork approval: Orders may be cancelled at no charge. Any advance payment will be refunded in full within 7 business days.
- After artwork approval but before production begins: A cancellation fee of 25% of the total order value will apply to cover pre-press and administrative costs.
- Once production has commenced: Orders cannot be cancelled. Costs incurred up to the point of cancellation will be charged in full, and no refund of the advance payment will be issued.
- Amendments after approval: Changes requested after artwork approval has been given may incur additional charges and will reset the production turnaround clock from the date the revised artwork is re-approved.
7. Quality Guarantee and Returns
7.1 Our Guarantee
We guarantee that all products delivered are free from defects attributable to our production process, including substrate defects, print head failures, lamination bubbling, or finishing errors.
7.2 Colour Tolerance
Large format printing is a production process with inherent colour variation. A colour deviation of ±5% from the approved digital proof, or a Delta-E value of ≤3 against an approved colour standard, is within industry tolerance and does not constitute a defect or grounds for a reprint or refund.
7.3 Claiming a Defect
To claim a production defect, you must notify us in writing within 48 hours of receiving the goods, providing photographic evidence. Defect claims received after this window will not be accepted. Upon verification of a valid defect, we will reprint the affected items at no additional charge. We do not issue cash refunds for defective goods — the remedy is a complimentary reprint only.
7.4 Non-Returnable Goods
All products are custom-manufactured to your specifications and are non-returnable and non-refundable except in the case of a verified production defect under clause 7.3 above.
8. Intellectual Property
- All artwork, designs, and content you supply remain your intellectual property. We do not acquire any ownership rights over client-supplied materials.
- We retain ownership of any design work, templates, or creative work produced by our team until full payment has been received, at which point intellectual property rights transfer to you.
- You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce your artwork solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
- You indemnify and hold Premium Prints harmless against any and all claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from any allegation that the content you supply infringes any third-party intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or applicable law.
- We may photograph completed work for our portfolio and marketing purposes unless you notify us in writing at the time of order that this is not permitted.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with any order — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise — shall not exceed the total value of the specific order giving rise to the claim.
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special losses, including but not limited to: lost revenue or profits, loss of anticipated savings, reputational damage, event cancellation costs, or any loss arising from missed deadlines where the delay was not solely attributable to our production error.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable UAE law.
10. Website Use
- You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not use the website to transmit malicious code, conduct unauthorised data scraping, or engage in any activity that could impair the website's operation.
- The website and all its content — including text, images, logos, and service descriptions — are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.
- We make no warranty that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Use of the website is at your own risk.
11. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, extreme weather conditions (including sandstorms), fire, flood, pandemic, government restrictions, public holidays (including UAE National Day and Eid periods), supply chain disruptions, power outages, or third-party logistics failures. In such circumstances, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and use reasonable endeavours to resume performance at the earliest opportunity.
12. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary business information, pricing, or trade secrets shared in the course of the business relationship and not to disclose such information to third parties without prior written consent, except as required by law. This obligation survives termination of the business relationship for a period of 3 years.
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Good Faith Negotiation
In the event of a dispute arising from these Terms or any order, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good faith negotiation. The party raising the dispute must notify the other in writing, and both parties shall have 30 days to reach an amicable resolution.
13.2 Mediation
If negotiation fails, either party may refer the dispute to mediation through the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) or the Dubai Centre for Amicable Settlement of Disputes before initiating formal legal proceedings.
13.3 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts for resolution of disputes that cannot be resolved through mediation.
14. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. These Terms, together with any written order confirmation and quotation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Premium Prints in relation to the services and supersede all prior representations, agreements, or understandings, whether written or oral.
15. Amendments to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The revised Terms will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
