Screens display RGB colour; printing uses CMYK. RGB-to-CMYK conversion shifts colours significantly — especially purples, oranges, and vibrant greens. Always convert to CMYK in your design application before export.
No bleed and crop marks on supplied files
Without 3mm bleed, cut edges show white paper stock after trimming. All print files must include 3mm bleed beyond the finished page size and crop marks set to 5mm offset.
Using Pantone colours without specifying
If your brand uses a specific Pantone colour (like a corporate red), specify the Pantone code at order stage. Without this, we print CMYK equivalent which may not match your brand standard.
Ordering the wrong paper weight
130gsm feels flimsy for a premium brochure; 250gsm is unnecessarily heavy for a disposable flyer. Standard recommendation: 170–200gsm for brochures, 350–400gsm for business cards, 130–150gsm for flyers.
