Common Mistakes to Avoid
Submitting artwork the week before the event
Exhibition print production for a full booth package takes 10–14 business days. Submitting artwork 5 days before GITEX is not possible to fulfil to quality. Always book a production slot when you register for the event.
Not accounting for venue rigging requirements
DWTC and ADNEC have strict rules on suspended element weights, rigging points, and early access for installation. Not coordinating with the venue rigging contractor in advance results in suspended banners not being installed.
Designing booth graphics at screen resolution
A 3m × 2.5m backdrop requires artwork at minimum 100dpi at final size (30cm × 25cm at 1000dpi is the same). At proper scale, artwork files should be 100–300MB for tension fabric prints.
Ordering only for the booth — forgetting handouts
Visitors remember brands that gave them something to take away. Coordinate booth graphics production with flyer, brochure, and promotional item orders to ensure consistent brand delivery across the whole exhibition presence.
